Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting near Tacoma, Washington. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, running from September 3, 2025, to June 16, 2026, with two openings available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation on student progress.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance service delivery.
  • Adhere to state regulations and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Eligibility for the Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential.
  • Experience with pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school and healthcare environments.
  • Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred, although new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Based in the Puyallup area near Tacoma, WA.
  • Contract duration from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026.
