We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team at a manufacturing plant specializing in film products. The successful candidate will collaborate with two other team members at a workstation within the manufacturing shop, contributing to the smooth flow of production processes.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials throughout the production run.
- Package materials for shipment by cutting, wrapping, palletizing, banding, labeling, etc.
- Monitor material and machine conditions to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area by completing general housekeeping tasks.
- Learn how to set up and operate large machines efficiently.
- Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature as needed.
- Read blueprints and work instructions, and maintain accurate records.
- Operate forklift, pallet mover, or hoist equipment as required.
Essential Skills
- Aptitude to learn mechanical skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Effective communication skills with team members and leadership staff.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Forklift certification may be required.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing plant environment, where candidates must be able to climb in and out of the pit through the stair entrance. You will work closely with others in a bustling and dynamic setting, where safety and cleanliness are prioritized.

This is a Contract position based out of Midland, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
