Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU Step-Down
Location: Neptune, NJ
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks (With High Possibility of Extension or Permanent Placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Per Week | 36 Hours Weekly
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,000 - $2,100/Week
Travel: $2,400 - $2,500/Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – ICU Step-Down for an exciting Contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ.
Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.

Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.

Identify patient needs and establish care priorities through ongoing assessment and evaluation.

Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patient responses.

Manage and coordinate care for assigned patients.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and quality patient outcomes.

Deliver patient-centered care consistent with professional nursing practice standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
-
Float to other units within competency level as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
-
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License required.

BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
-
ACLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required.

Telemetry Certification required.
-
CEU Contact Stroke Certification (4 Hours) required.

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital required.

Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry background.
-
Neuro experience required.
-
Epic charting experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
