SWEAT440 Prestonwood is seeking a Studio Manager to lead studio operations and drive membership growth.
The Studio Manager will be responsible for building a membership base, leading community outreach, developing and coaching the team, and owning the studio's revenue performance.
This is not a passive management role. It is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong sales ability, entrepreneurial initiative, operational discipline, and a genuine passion for the member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Growth
- Personally engage prospects, capture leads, and close memberships
- Confidently communicate value and overcome objections
- Build grassroots marketing initiatives and develop local partnerships with wellness, retail, and community organizations
- Execute community outreach strategies to drive traffic and leads
- Proactively follow up on leads through CRM and direct outreach
- Achieve membership, revenue, and utilization targets
- Track and analyze KPIs including sales conversion, retention, and revenue
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, hire, and onboard studio team members
- Build a positive, high-accountability team culture
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through feedback and performance management
- Lead performance-focused team meetings
- Ensure staff consistently deliver a premium, high-energy member experience
- Lead by example in work ethic, urgency, and ownership
Operational Excellence
- Uphold brand standards and ensure operational excellence at all times
- Oversee daily studio operations including scheduling, payroll, reporting, and inventory
- Be present during peak class times to provide leadership and support
- Manage expenses and operate within budget
- Ensure consistent communication regarding performance metrics
Community & Brand Representation
- Serve as the face of SWEAT440 Prestonwood in the local community
- Represent SWEAT440 at local events and networking opportunities
- Develop relationships with nearby businesses and community influencers
- Host in-studio events to drive referrals and member retention
Key Performance Expectations
This is a KPI-driven role. You will be measured on:
- Monthly net membership growth
- Lead-to-close conversion rate
- Show rate for intro sessions
- Member retention metrics
- Revenue performance against targets
You should be comfortable tracking numbers daily and adjusting strategy accordingly.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience (boutique fitness, hospitality, or service-based business preferred)
- Proven success in membership sales or revenue-driven roles
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service ethic; genuine passion for member satisfaction
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours
- CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- Fitness certification from a nationally accredited organization (or willingness to obtain within 3 months), or a B.A. in Exercise Science or related field
Acceptable certifications include: Personal Training, Group Fitness, Small Group Fitness, and similar.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience) Bonus: Performance-based incentive structure tied to revenue and membership growth Benefits: Paid time off and employee discounts Hours: 40–50 hours per week Growth: Opportunity to coach, mentor, and grow a team within an expanding brand
