Job Summary:

The Project Manager will organize, manage, and direct all aspects of their assigned project and be responsible for successful execution of that project.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Oversee the entire project & team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specifications.

· Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

· Oversee all aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned project.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Leads their team to safely complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with high quality and efficiency.

· Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly (Submittals, RFI’s, Scheduling, etc.).

· Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

· Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.

· Acts as the Safety Manager for the project and coordinates with the Safety Department when needed.

· Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.

· Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other Project related software.

Education and Experience:

· Degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience required.

· At least seven years of industry experience required.

· PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.

· Experience with UDOT Project management procedures is highly desirable

· Experience with UDOT Masterworks Project Management Software Platform is highly desirable.

· Experience with Traffic Signal, ITS, Highway Lighting, Heavy Civil Road and Bridge construction Management is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.

· Able to navigate various jobsite settings.
