Location:New Castle, DESchedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pmPay rate: $20.24 per hour
Job Summary
As a Purchase of Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to provide essential services and resources to those in need. In this temporary position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and coordination of various care services, ensuring our clients receive the support they require in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the purchase of a variety of care services, such as medical, social, or supportive services, to meet the specific needs of our clients
- Liaise with service providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor the quality and delivery of care
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with program guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address gaps in service delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, advocating on their behalf and connecting them with the appropriate resources
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a procurement, healthcare, or social services role
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of public health and social services
- Proficiency in data management and reporting
Working Conditions
This is a temporary,full-time position, with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm The work will primarily be conducted in an office setting, with occasional visits to service providers or client locations as needed. Some evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate client needs.
