Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification to support students in an elementary school setting. This contract role involves working closely with one student in a 1:1 capacity within a high school Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom, addressing very severe behavioral challenges. The assignment runs Monday through Friday from 7:13 a.m. to 2:43 p.m., starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to the individual needs of the student.
Monitor and document behavioral progress and challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to ensure consistency of support.
Maintain a calm, patient, and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to improve social and learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD, especially those exhibiting severe behaviors.
Strong knowledge of behavior management strategies and ABA principles.
Ability to work independently under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
