Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Lakeville, MN is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role involves supporting students across all grade levels with assessments, interventions, and consultations to promote their academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Minnesota
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work collaboratively with school staff and families
