A Women's HealthClinic in Portland is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Greet and room patients, ensuring comfort and preparing them for provider visits
  • Accurately record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate
  • Administer injections and vaccines as directed by the provider
  • Manage daily in-basket tasks including prepping charts, responding to phone inquiries, and handling patient messages
  • Assist providers during routine exams and in-office procedures
  • Support patients and providers by completing FMLA and other medical documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by disinfecting exam rooms and sterilizing medical equipment

Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in and commitment to women's health and patient-centered care
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required for Level 2 MA roles
  • Certification through AAMA, NCCT, or AMT recognized and required

Additional Skills:

  • EPIC experience
  • OB/GYN setting experience
  • Values excellent patient care and experience

Schedule/Shift:

  • 4 10's schedule, Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5:30 PM (30 minute lunch break)

Contract Length:

1040 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$21 - $31.80 (Dependant on experience)
