Position Overview:

We seek a visionary and experienced Education Leader to join our institution. In this pivotal role, you will lead the academic department, set strategic goals, and ensure the highest standards of educational excellence are upheld across all programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of our institution.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the academic department, fostering a culture of educational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop, review, and revise curriculum and academic policies to meet the needs of students and industry standards.
  • Oversee faculty members' recruitment, selection, and evaluation, ensuring their professional growth and development through mentoring, training, and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in education, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies into curriculum design.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, industry leaders, and other educational institutions to enhance educational opportunities, internships, and research collaborations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant educational regulations, accreditation standards, and industry requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze educational data and performance metrics to assess program effectiveness, student outcomes and identify areas for improvement.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in academic administration or instructional capacity, preferably at a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Valid cosmetology license.
  • Must possess a current Instructor license.
  • In-depth knowledge of current educational trends, pedagogical approaches, and curriculum development.
  • Strong understanding of accreditation standards, educational regulations, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team of faculty and staff toward a shared vision of educational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in educational technologies and their integration into teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
  • Computer skills necessary.
