Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Duluth, MN, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support students' educational and emotional development. This role emphasizes fostering a positive learning environment through expert psychological services, assessments, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning needs and challenges
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address behavioral and emotional concerns
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support individualized education program (IEP) development
- Travel as required to multiple school sites within the district
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
- Flexibility to travel between schools to provide services
