Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) teaching license required.
- Previous experience working with students with a range of learning and behavioral needs.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and evidence-based practices.
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction, accommodations, and modifications tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.
- Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and parents.
- Conduct assessments to measure student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, service providers, and paraprofessionals to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in Case Conferences, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
