About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our investment team, In the role successful candidate will:

  • Business & Investment Analysis – actively support the Front Office (FO) team by driving efficiencies, cleaning up data, and identifying opportunities to streamline data integration, ensuring consistency across the team while leveraging tools such as Power BI to create dashboards that provide valuable insights."
  • Requirement Gathering – Engage with product owners and end users to capture business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Documentation & Specification Writing – Develop functional specifications, process mappings, and workflow diagrams to ensure clarity in system enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work alongside developers, testing teams, infrastructure specialists, and other business analysts to ensure smooth implementation of investment-related projects.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance – Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution to maintain delivery quality.
  • System & Data Management – Provide insights into investment processes by leveraging financial data tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and SQL-based analysis.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory policies in investment operations.
  • Project Coordination – Oversee multiple project deliveries, ensuring they align with business objectives and timeline expectations.

About You

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

    • 5+ years as a Business Analyst within banking/investment operations.
    • 6+ years in financial services, including exposure to front office workflows would be beneficial
    • Proficiency in financial data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters).
    • Strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and Power BI
    • Previous exposure to instrument referential systems and market data feeds (Equity, Bonds, FX rates).
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve root cause issues.
    • Strong communication skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
    • Ability to work independently and within teams to drive business solutions.
    • Experience implementing operational control policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.
