Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated General Office Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Ramon, California. In this role, you will support various administrative tasks and manage routine office duties with efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities:
• Operate office equipment such as letter folding machines, postage meters, and scanners to handle large mailings.
• Perform repetitive tasks, including envelope stuffing and mail opening, with precision and consistency.
• Update and maintain databases by entering accurate information and keeping records organized.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and processing.
• Assist in organizing and filing documents to maintain a well-structured workspace.
• Scan and digitize paper documents for electronic storage and retrieval.
• Support shipping activities, including preparing packages and coordinating delivery schedules.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor office supplies and restock as needed to support ongoing administrative activities.• At least 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or clerical role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and document preparation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files and maintain accurate records.
• Experience using office equipment such as scanners, postage machines, and letter folding machines.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and maintain focus over extended periods.
• Capable of standing for prolonged periods as required by certain tasks.
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and handle tasks with urgency.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and handle inquiries efficiently.
