About the Position
We are looking for a skilled, empathetic, and collaborative Lead Psychiatrist for our clinics in Illinois. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed psychiatrist in the state. This position is perfect for those eager to expand their clinical skills beyond conventional medications and therapy, as well as to grow as a clinical leader within a vibrant and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments and follow-up consultations in line with established practice standards.

Create and execute treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols.

Establish and oversee a patient panel for which you will serve as the primary psychopharmacologist.

Administer and supervise interventional services, including Spravato, IV ketamine, and TMS.

Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions using validated tools, allowing this data to inform treatment strategies.

Provide primary supervision to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Offer secondary supervision to associate therapists.

Ensure accountability for adherence to protocols and clinical practices aligned with organizational objectives.

Act as an investigator in clinical trials involving both psychedelic and non-psychedelic substances.

Maintain ongoing educational requirements necessary for licensure and certifications.

Timely complete documentation of clinical care that is detailed, comprehensive, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.

Meet productivity expectations in clinical, supervisory, and administrative responsibilities.

Uphold a high standard of professionalism in interactions with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications

Active MD or DO license in Illinois.

At least 2 years of post-residency experience.

Illinois state Controlled Substance License (schedules II through V).

Federal DEA Controlled Substance License (schedules II through V).

BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary care team and lead clinical staff in dynamic initiatives.

Capability to address new challenges and prioritize tasks in a complex clinical setting.

Prior experience in an outpatient environment.

Familiarity with TMS and ketamine/esketamine is preferred.

Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check, including educational and licensing verification.

Compensation
-
Base Salary: $220,000 - $270,000 annually, based on experience.

Bonus Incentive Program: Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus in addition to the base salary.
