Job Title: RN - Operating Room
Location: Madison, WI 53792

Duration: 17 Weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)
Weekly Pay: $2,925/36 Hours
Requirements:
- Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above).
- Must have WI nursing license or compact license.
- Strongest skills should be in cardiac/thoracic: ECMO, CABG (Coronary artery bypass graft), ascending, LVAD, thoracic, thoracic robot Davinci Xi, lobectomy, mitral valves, VATS, lung resection.
Duties:
- Prepares patients for surgery, including verification and positioning.
- Maintains a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Assists the surgical team during procedures as a circulating or scrub nurse.
- Monitors patient condition and responds to intraoperative needs.
- Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinates with anesthesia, surgical, and support teams.
- Documents of all aspects of intraoperative care accurately.
- Ensures smooth patient transitions before, during, and after surgery.
- Adheres to infection control and safety protocols.
- Acts as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process.
