Quality Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Manage supplier quality performance and incoming material inspection processes.
- Oversee internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and report on key performance indicators.
- Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints efficiently and effectively.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance or management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality methodologies (SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Certification as an ASQ Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE) or Six Sigma Black Belt.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standard (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100)
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis
- Experience with specific ERP quality modules or advanced QMS software solutions
- Demonstrated experience in supplier quality development and management
