We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests on patient specimens, ensure accurate results, and support quality patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and analyze laboratory tests on patient specimens in accordance with established procedures.

Record results in the laboratory information system and promptly report unusual or critical findings.

Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and other testing materials.

Conduct quality control checks, equipment maintenance, and calibrations to ensure accuracy.

Communicate with nursing staff and clinical teams regarding results or test clarifications.

Compare current test results with prior results and notify supervisors of unusual variations.

Assist in training new staff, technologists, technicians, and support personnel.

Take on Tech-in-Charge responsibilities as assigned.

Participate in department meetings, continuing education, and quality assurance programs.

Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information in accordance with policies.

Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
Qualifications

ASCP or NCLS certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (preferred).

At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (preferred).

Strong knowledge of laboratory principles, test procedures, and their clinical significance.

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
