\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n
- \n
- At least 1 year of recent ICU experience required (2 years preferred) — ICU RN / critical care nurse experience\n
- Travel nursing experience required\n
- Valid RN license\n
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required\n
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS\n
- Experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella preferred\n
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and telemetry\n
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system preferred\n
\n\nResponsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide care for critically ill adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with complex and life-threatening conditions as an ICU RN\n
- Monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring\n
- Manage ventilator patients, lumbar drains, and titrate critical drips (vasopressors, sedation, Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin)\n
- Care for patients on CRRT, IABP, and Impella when required\n
- Float as needed to Stepdown, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or Emergency Department\n
- Read telemetry strips and document accurately in EPIC charting system\n
- Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage\n
- Adhere to unit dress code and complete orientation and skills checklist\n
