Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within an elementary school setting. This contract position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) programming, offering concentrated support during a critical period of student development.
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 4 weeks (exact dates to be confirmed)
Schedule: 4 hours per day, 5 days a week, totaling 20 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to elementary students, addressing a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet evolving student needs during the ESY period.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory guidelines.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Authorization/licensure to practice as a School Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in elementary school environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to supporting student growth.
