South Shore Marina, managed by Bowline Marinas, is seeking a motivated Assistant Marina Manager to help oversee daily operations at one of Lake Murray’s premier marinas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, operations, and hands-on marina work, and who is looking to grow within a marina management organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Marina Manager with day-to-day marina operations
- Provide excellent customer service to slip holders, dry stack customers, and guests
- Help manage dock operations, staff scheduling, and workflow
- Support fuel dock, dry storage, and general marina activities as needed
- Assist with leasing, customer onboarding, and account coordination
- Enforce marina rules, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards
- Help monitor and maintain marina facilities and equipment
- Step in as acting manager when the Marina Manager is off-site
Qualifications
- Prior marina, boating, hospitality, or facilities management experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak season
- Leadership mindset with the ability to supervise staff when needed
- Boating knowledge is a plus, but not required
