About the Role
An established and growing hospitality group is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the opening of a New American restaurant in one of Washington, DC’s best neighborhoods. This is an exciting opportunity to build a kitchen team, develop seasonal menus, and lead a high-profile opening while growing with a respected restaurant group.
Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations including prep, service, and execution
- Create and execute seasonal New American menus
- Hire, train, and lead a strong kitchen team
- Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine
- Background in New American or seasonal cuisine preferred
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining quality
What We Offer
- Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
