About the Role

An established and growing hospitality group is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the opening of a New American restaurant in one of Washington, DC’s best neighborhoods. This is an exciting opportunity to build a kitchen team, develop seasonal menus, and lead a high-profile opening while growing with a respected restaurant group.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all kitchen operations including prep, service, and execution
  • Create and execute seasonal New American menus
  • Hire, train, and lead a strong kitchen team
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine
  • Background in New American or seasonal cuisine preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining quality

What We Offer
