Quality Engineer | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances, internal defects, and customer complaints, driving corrective actions.
- Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical methods to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
- Collaborate with design and production teams to establish quality requirements for new products and processes.
- Manage supplier quality performance, including audits and incoming material inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like FMEA, SPC, and 8D methodology.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems; IATF 16949 or AS9100 experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) for process improvement and data interpretation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience conducting internal or supplier audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Familiarity with CAD software for design review and analysis.
