Job Description

The Sr. Event Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of the event. The coordinator oversees the planning, organization, researching, implementation and operation of events. Compensation commensurate with experience. Salary plus overtime.

OVERVIEW

  • Manage hotel relationship
  • Research site locations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Lead and be an integral part of the team
  • Remain highly motivated and pleasant under fast-paced stressful conditions
  • Handle logistics
  • Assist with setup of office and common areas
  • Great organizational skills are a must!
  • Keep work sites tidy and running efficiently

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly motivated self-starter able to adjust to a constantly changing work environment / schedule
  • Must be able to travel on short notice and work extended hours as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in many capacities
  • General knowledge of trial and litigation
  • Good computer skills especially with MS Office (Excel & SharePoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to assist in lifting and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience

  • 3 years of experience as an event planner, paralegal or senior admin [or] office manager, legal secretary or any job with involving hotel hospitality, travel, and/or banquets
  • Prior legal experience preferred
  • Good driving record

Physical Demands:

  • There are certain physical demands required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to actively listen and communicate. The employee is often required to unload and load supplies and equipment. The employee must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs. The employee is also required to have a valid drivers’ license. Th
  • e employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the responsibilities of this role the employee will act as a team member in an occasionally high-stress environment. Employees are required to travel for up to four weeks and stay in wonderful accommodations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may periodically be exposed to confidential information and may be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Pay: Total compensation includes base salary plus overtime. Total compensation range is $55,000 - $100,000 per year
