Director of Nursing – Sandusky, Ohio
Are you a strong, forward-thinking nursing leader ready to make a meaningful impact? We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at a well-respected skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Sandusky, Ohio.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Prior leadership experience in a healthcare or post-acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical best practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team
- A passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
As the DON, you'll be instrumental in setting the tone for nursing excellence. Your duties will include:
- Clinical Leadership – Ensuring quality care delivery and best practices across the facility
- Team Oversight – Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing nursing staff
- Regulatory Compliance – Maintaining standards and readiness for surveys and audits
- Quality Initiatives – Driving quality improvement and infection control programs
- Budget Management – Overseeing department resources effectively
- Training & Development – Fostering ongoing staff education and growth
