Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time speech-language professional opportunity is available through the end of the school year, with potential for extension, to support a busy student services caseload in Oxnard, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering pensatory speech services within a school setting and offers collaboration with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) if the candidate has one.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school or healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery preferred
  • Candidates at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) level are encouraged to apply
  • SLPA credentials are a plus or ability to work alongside an SLPA
  • Background providing pensatory speech services to address missed or delayed therapy is desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective speech and language therapy to students with identified needs
  • Provide pensatory services to address any gaps caused by prior service delays
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and support staff to ensure students munication goals are met
  • Optionally integrate teletherapy as part of service provision when appropriate
  • Coordinate with an SLPA if available to maximize therapy reach and efficiency
