Supreme Gear Company is a leading manufacturer of precision gears and machined components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of prior experience, preferably in precision gear inspection, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections confirming that parts are in conformance to customer and industry standards.
• Examine incoming raw material, work in process and finished goods to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Document inspection reports on approved forms for compliance.
• Read, interpret, and understand sketches, prints, and work instructions.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and proficiency using tools like calipers, gauges and micrometers to document findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality systems and QA/QC processes.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Compliance with all safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience in gear, precision manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with quality assurance practices, including Nadcap and AS9100D; industry methodologies; and quality control systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• NDT knowledge or experience is an asset.

Wages based upon knowledge and experience and is negotiable.
