JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Production Lead-S

LOCATION: Spokane Washington

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Assists in setting production schedule priorities.
  • Promotes safety, efficiency, and quality performance by training and coaching operators to improve technical skills.
  • Maintains a work environment where team members are actively engaged in improving layout, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Leads by example in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events, RIPs, reducing setup time, 5S, etc.).
  • Monitors machine maintenance and enhances preventative maintenance activities.
  • Relies on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals within the assigned area.
  • Performs production tasks proficiently to troubleshoot issues, maintain efficient departmental workflow, and ensure in-process control daily.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or on-the-job experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating fabrication machinery preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard ISO concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in fabrication machinery setup is required.
  • Extensive knowledge in a specialized field and proficiency in a wide range of procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
  • Effective communicator across departments and with team members.
  • Ability to train and mentor others.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Familiar with measuring and testing equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
