What will you do as a Goldsmith at Diamond Cellar?

Goldsmiths at Diamond Cellar will craft, repair, and refine fine jewelry according to design specifications. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and a strong knowledge of jewelry techniques, metals, and gemstones. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled bench jeweler capable of delivering superior craftsmanship in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish jewelry pieces according to designs, blueprints, or customer requests.
  • Perform stone setting, engraving, soldering, polishing, and other benchwork techniques.
  • Repair, resize, and restore fine jewelry, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Work with precious metals (gold, platinum, silver) and gemstones safely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with designers, sales staff, and other bench jewelers to bring custom pieces to life.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in excellent condition.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of materials, time, and work completed.

What are we looking for in a Goldsmith?

  • Proven experience as a Goldsmith, Bench Jeweler, or similar role (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry fabrication, repair, and stone setting techniques.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, rotary tools, and casting equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD designs, and schematics.
  • Attention to detail and strong aesthetic judgment.
  • Familiarity with jewelry materials, including gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • GIA Certification
