Southeast Missouri Network Against Sexual Violence (SEMO-NASV) is a local nonprofit that provides advocacy, forensics, education, and counseling to those that have faced sexual violence in eight counties in southeast Missouri. We believe that through our services we can truly listen to every voice and advocate for every heart.
We are looking for:
- A full-time Forensic Nurse Practitioner & Forensic Interviewer
- Passion for assisting children and adults that have faced sexual violence in a trauma-informed setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with internal and external teams
- Strong organization, time management, computer, presentation/education, and multi-tasking skills
- High ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- A team player, who enjoys a collaborative environment, but has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel throughout our eight-county service region (mileage reimbursement available) - Office locations in Jackson and New Madrid, Missouri and participate in after-hours call rotation
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with current Missouri state license and in good standing with the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in nursing
- SANE/SAFE trained
- Experience at Child Advocacy Center and/or Rape Crisis Center
