Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for a high school classroom serving students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). This is a contract role for the full school year located in Nashua, NH. The teacher will support a caseload of approximately 15 students, some of whom will have assigned 1:1 paraprofessional support. Instruction may take place in a self-contained or integrated classroom setting depending on individual student needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering academic and behavioral instruction aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs tailored to each student
  • Establishing classroom routines and structures that promote a positive learning environment
  • Collaborating regularly with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress
  • Utilizing positive behavior interventions and data-driven strategies to meet behavioral goals

Qualifications for this role require:

  • An active New Hampshire Special Education certification with an Emotional and Behavioral Disorders endorsement
  • Experience working with high school students (grades 912) in special education settings preferred
  • Strong skills in behavior management and instructional differentiation
