Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients, ensuring accurate tax reporting and strategies for tax savings. This role involves managing a team of tax professionals and providing guidance on complex tax issues while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax compliance for business and individual clients
- Review and approve business and individual tax returns
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary
- Prepare and present tax-related reports and analyses to management
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in tax management
- Proven experience in reviewing and preparing business and individual tax returns
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
