Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Audiologist to support K-12 students within a public school district in the Virginia Beach area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026, providing the chance to develop and implement an audiology program that enhances existing services previously delivered by an external clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive audiology evaluations and hearing screenings for students across multiple schools within the district.
  • Travel between school locations as an itinerant specialist to conduct hearing exams.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student hearing health.
  • Develop and manage an audiology program tailored to the needs of the district.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD in Audiology required.
  • Active and valid Audiologist license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload.
  • Experience working within educational or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Details:

  • Location: Virginia Beach Area (Norfolk, VA vicinity).
  • Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract term for the current school year (CSY).
  • Itinerant position requiring travel to schools.
  • Opportunity to develop a new audiology service program within the district.
