Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Washington State, working weekend day shifts with call coverage.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting in a General Radiology/X-Ray department with 2 X-ray rooms
  • Common imaging studies include fluoroscopy, surgical/OR X-ray, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
  • Average of approximately 30 studies per day
  • EMR system is Epic; PACS system is McKesson
  • Imaging equipment includes GE and Siemens systems
  • 12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, Saturday through Monday, with call as needed
  • No floating to other departments required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Rad Tech experience required
  • Active WA state Rad Tech license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • ARRT (R) certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
  • Experience in ED X-ray and surgical/OR imaging is a plus
  • Traveler must provide their own personal radiation badge — the facility does not supply one
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Performs fluoroscopy, surgical/OR imaging, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
  • Orientation consists of one week of day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility; basic scrub color required
  • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
  • An interview with the unit manager is part of the selection process
