Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Washington State, working weekend day shifts with call coverage.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a General Radiology/X-Ray department with 2 X-ray rooms
- Common imaging studies include fluoroscopy, surgical/OR X-ray, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
- Average of approximately 30 studies per day
- EMR system is Epic; PACS system is McKesson
- Imaging equipment includes GE and Siemens systems
- 12-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, Saturday through Monday, with call as needed
- No floating to other departments required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Rad Tech experience required
- Active WA state Rad Tech license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
- Experience in ED X-ray and surgical/OR imaging is a plus
- Traveler must provide their own personal radiation badge — the facility does not supply one
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs fluoroscopy, surgical/OR imaging, ED X-ray, inpatient, and portable studies
- Orientation consists of one week of day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Scrubs are provided by the facility; basic scrub color required
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- An interview with the unit manager is part of the selection process
