Radiation Therapist 2 years experience required \n\n\nShift Notes\nMonday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM\n\nUnit Notes\n**All ppw due WEDNESDAY at NOON MST the week before start**\n*Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location\n\nRadiology: Radiation Oncology\n- General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS\n- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: Degree in Radiation oncology- Radiation therapy Wyoming State License and national license\n- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 Vital Beam and True Beam\n- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: N/A\n- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Breast, lung, prostate, head and neck, esophogeal. Stereotactic- brain, body (SBRT, SRS). No peds.\n- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with the machines True/vital beam. Mosaic experience highly recommended\n- Average # of scans/studies per day: 25-30\n- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Mosaiq charting system.\n- Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Vital beam and True beam\n- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Manager\n- Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No\n- Radiation MD in-house?: In house.\n- Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): N/A- nurses would start IVs\n- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Shifts- 7-330 M-F (would like them ready to go by 0700)\n- Weekend Requirements: No\n- Holiday Requirements: No\n- Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: No\n- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Any color scrub- Techs there wear black scrubs and white shirts (this is not required though).\n- Department specific orientation: 1 week until they are by themselves. Review imaging, physician requirements, etc.\n- Additional Notes: Travelers will not do simulation. Hiking and outdoor activities close. Small facility, close knit. Great patient satisfaction scores
