Pay Range: $40$62+/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area. This full-time role is open to both local SLPs seeking consistent school-year work and traveling clinicians looking for flexible, high-paying assignments.
Position Overview:
As a school-based SLP, you will provide therapy services to students in grades K12, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs. Youll collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and support student progress across the school year.

Weekly pay: $52$62+/hour, depending on travel status and qualifications

Weekly gross: $2,000$2,500, including tax-free stipends for housing and meals (if qualified)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy services to K12 students in individual and group settings

Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determinations

Develop and maintain IEPs in accordance with Virginia state and district guidelines

Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents
-
Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student outcomes
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Virginia SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs will be considered

Previous school-based experience is a plus

Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
