An opportunity is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to provide essential support to a high school student with autism in Newport, NH. This full-time, contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, starting ASAP and running through June 2026. The role requires experience within school settings, specifically involving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and discrete trial training, to effectively assist with behavioral interventions.

Position Details:
- Full-time (32.5 to 35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA strategies including discrete trials to support student learning and behavior
- Work closely with school staff to provide individualized assistance tailored to student needs
- Monitor and document behavioral progress in accordance with guidelines
- Assist with daily school activities to ensure an inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in school-based paraprofessional roles is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ABA, discrete trials, and behavior management
