Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements
- Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently
- Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers
- Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process
- Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
- Tax Return Preparation - Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S
- Payroll Tax and Sales Tax Filings
Qualifications:
- Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar position
- Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Public Accounting
Software Proficiency:
- QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
- Creative Solutions – Accounting CS and UltraTax
- Lacerte (a plus)
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
