Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting, specializing in a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) classroom. This structured, self-contained environment focuses on behavior regulation and supports a caseload of approximately 12 students, many of whom have autism spectrum disorder and/or emotional and behavioral disorders. The position offers a meaningful chance to make a difference through targeted academic and behavioral support.

Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver SEL-based instruction and establish structured classroom routines aligned with students needs
- Provide targeted academic and behavior support in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive student support
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and collect progress data
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement (EBD, ASD, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in behavior support, classroom management, and SEL-focused teaching strategies
- Previous experience in self-contained or high-support SPED environments strongly preferred
