Position Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests—both in person and over the phone. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant or front-of-house experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression
- Answer phone calls professionally and direct inquiries as needed
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts
- Assist with guest check-in and coordinate with service staff
- Provide accurate information about menu items, hours, and policies
- Maintain a clean and organized reception/lobby area
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and data entry
- Help ensure smooth front-of-house operations and guest flow
- Work collaboratively with hosts, servers, and management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, host/hostess, or customer service role
- Restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and friendly in a busy environment
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, POS familiarity helpful)
