Paraprofessional – San Francisco, CA

$24-$30 per hour | Full-Time | School-Based Extended School Year Contract (20–30 hours per week, dependent on location)

What You’ll Do in This Role

As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students in achieving their academic, social, and behavioral goals. You will provide one-on-one and small group support, help implement lesson plans, and reinforce instructional materials in a classroom setting. This role requires flexibility and compassion, as you may support students with a wide range of needs. All paraprofessionals must be comfortable assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, feeding, and g-tube feeding, ensuring students are supported with dignity and care. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Required Qualifications — California

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • At least 48 completed college units and a high school diploma
    OR
  • A passing score on the CBEST and a high school diploma
    OR
  • A passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam and a high school diploma

Candidates must also meet all state and district background check requirements.
