Position Summary

The Studio Manager is the operational leader of School of Rock Vacaville, responsible for supporting

enrollment growth, overseeing administrative systems, and maintaining daily operational excellence.

Reporting to the Owner/General Manager, this role partners with music education staff while

maintaining accountability for the school’s operational performance. The Studio Manager maintains

strong systems that support consistent execution, sustainable growth, and a professional, welcoming

environment for students, families, and staff.

Leadership & Accountability

• Oversee the Studio Coordinator and front-desk administrative functions

• Maintain consistent communication with the Owner/GM

• Collaborate with music education staff to support program excellence

• Provide guidance and accountability around adherence to SOPs

• Identify operational gaps and report observations with recommended solutions

• Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Administrative Systems Oversight• CRM oversight and visibility into lead management processes

• Enrollment processing and student record accuracy

• Billing review and reconciliation processes

• Schedule integrity and program enrollment alignment

• Parent communication related to enrollment and account matters

• Reporting on enrollment, retention, and withdrawal trends

Daily Studio Operations

• Oversee adherence to opening and closing procedures

• Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming environment

• Conduct regular facility walkthroughs

• Monitor daily schedule accuracy

• Support professional response to parent and student concerns

• Maintain visibility into student safety protocols

Lead Management & Enrollment Growth

• Oversee lead follow-up processes

• Monitor trial lesson scheduling and conversion tracking

• Review enrollment metrics regularly

• Maintain visibility into re-engagement efforts

• Provide regular reporting on enrollment performance

Billing & Administrative Oversight

• Monitor billing accuracy and enrollment system integrity

• Oversee processing of withdrawals and schedule changes

• Conduct regular billing reconciliation

• Maintain visibility into outstanding balances

Staffing & Team Coordination

• Identify staffing needs• Support recruiting and interview coordination in cooperation with music management

• Assist in onboarding coordination

• Maintain staff scheduling oversight

• Ensure staff maintain current Live Scan/background clearances and required documentation

• Support a positive team culture

Event & Program Support

• Assist in planning and execution of seasonal shows (in cooperation with music management),

performances, and House Band gigs

• Support transportation of gear when needed

• Maintain a valid driver’s license

Marketing & Content Support

• Coordinate marketing initiatives directed by the Owner/GM

• Collaborate on posting and scheduling

• Capture in-studio photo and video content

• Maintain online presence updates as directed

Compensation & Incentives

Compensation Range: $26 – $29 per hour (based on experience).

Quarterly performance incentive tied to enrollment growth, retention, and operational benchmarks.

90-Day Introductory Period applies to all new hires.

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully complete a Live Scan/background check
