Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced MRI technologist for a contract position. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient treatment plans. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently during evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain and calibrate imaging machines according to protocol
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate results
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification and training in MRI technology
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of MRI protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Schedule/Hours:
- Two evening shifts from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- One evening shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Total of 24 hours per week
