Job DescriptionQuality Inspector – Lehr Operator - $16.58/hour
Commercial Employees is hiring a Quality Inspector – Lehr Operator position for a Pittsburgh (Swissvale) glass manufacturer. Starting pay of $16.58 per hour, that is paid weekly and benefits including health, vision, dental and life insurance. Train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift.
Quality Inspector – Lehr Operator Requirements & Duties:
- Inspect glass pieces for defects after they’ve cooled on Lehr belt
- Confirm parts are aligned with individual customer specifications
- Ability to assist other departments during downtime
- Past QC experience preferred
- Shifts: 7am-3:30pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have 2 years of solid work history
- Ability to perform repetitive work
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lb
