Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech-language pathology services for elementary-aged students within school settings in the Aurora, CO area. This full-time, onsite role requires flexibility to support multiple schools with caseloads typically ranging between 25 to 45 students. The position offers valuable experience working closely with a public school district and a strong possibility of contract renewal for the following academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy focused on elementary school students.
- Manage varying caseload sizes effectively to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs.
- Participate in and bill for professional development activities allowed by the district.
- Maintain compliance with district protocols, including background checks and fingerprinting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Colorado SLP license.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educational teams.
- Ability to work onsite across various school locations within the Denver metropolitan area.
- Commitment to full-time hours, Monday through Friday, averaging 37.5 hours per week.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite positions within schools throughout the Aurora and Denver area, Colorado.
- Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with no virtual or remote work options.
- Contract period from ASAP through May 21, 2026, with high probability of extension.
