Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Certified and Licensed School Psychologist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Ankeny, IA. This role requires expertise in school psychology practices within K-12 educational settings, focusing on assessment, intervention, and consultation to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to help students overcome challenges.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Valid state licensure to practice school psychology.
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school student populations.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
