Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Paramus, NJ and Montvale, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Type: Day Shift
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple outpatient locations. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills, along with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Flexibility to work across different sites as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and clinical procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately document patient information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain examination rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies.
- Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety guidelines.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Provide patient education and support under clinical direction.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Medical Assistant or similar clinical support role.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Experience and competency in phlebotomy.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to travel between multiple work locations as needed.
