Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the recruitment function, developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract and engage top production, creative, and operational talent. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensures a positive candidate experience while aligning with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy:
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for roles across production, warehouse, creative, account management, sales, and operations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Candidate Management:
- Screen resumes, conduct screening interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and coordinate full interview cycles.
- Own the offer and negotiation process.
- Manage applicant tracking platform and maintain accurate candidate records.
Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s culture and values through social media and job boards.
- Leverage social platforms, industry groups, trade schools, and associations to source candidates.
- Represent the organization at career fairs and networking events.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare recruitment metrics and reports for leadership review.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting; Event Industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
- Familiarity with diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
