Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on student communication development within an educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, supporting K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in school-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
Location:Wilkes Barre, PA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
