1824 Kitchen and Bar, located at the brand-new Fairfield by Marriott and Towneplace Suites dual-brand hotel in Perry, GA, is seeking an outgoing and experienced Bartender to join our team. Our restaurant and bar offer fresh, made-from-scratch American fare paired with a lively atmosphere and live entertainment. We’re looking for someone who can provide excellent service, craft quality drinks, and deliver a welcoming experience to every guest.
Alcohol Server Training Certification is required (i.e., iServeSmart, etc.)
Compensation:
$9 - $13 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a full range of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and accuracy.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels of the bar.
- Follow all alcohol service laws and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service for both bar and dining room guests.
- Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Our restaurant and bar utilize the Toast point-of-sale system. Toast experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Alcohol Server Training Certification required (must be current and valid in Georgia).
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and mixology techniques.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
